val levine
Val’s entry into the world of music was anything but by the book. As a teenager in Brooklyn, Val would spend hours in the back of coffee shops simply writing. The pen and page offered a necessary escape from the high-stakes demands of a young competitive figure skater with an eye on the Olympics.

Following her competitive years, Val turned pro and joined the ice show circuit. She toured with Ice Capades and performed in skating films, TV specials, and elite ice dance companies, including the prestigious John Curry Skating Company and the Ice Theatre of New York.
After retiring from the ice, Val missed the energy of show biz and the lure of life on the road. That void was eventually filled when she picked up a guitar; she discovered chords for her poetry and a new voice for her stories. Val returned to the stage - this time trading skates for a guitar and a backing band.
Since then, Val has released several singles and a full- length album, Paper Romance.
Her latest project, Fancy Town, was recorded in Nashville with premiere studio players and is set for digital release in 2026.
